Abstract

The concatenation model in polarization controlled fibers is being revisited in the present paper. A complete range of 1-soliton solutions is identified by two integration methods. A few forms of straddled soliton solutions are displayed in the paper for the first time. The conditions required for the existence of solitons are presented as parameter constraints. Two integration approaches have made this retrieval possible. They are the Sine-Gordon equation approach and the F-expansion procedure. The surface plots of the soliton solutions have also been displayed.
