Abstract

The paper addresses highly dispersive optical solitons with differential group delay, characterized by the Kerr law of self-phase modulation. The extended auxiliary equation approach recovers the full spectrum of solitons. Additionally, solutions in terms of Weierstrass’s elliptic functions are reported. The results are all presented with the necessary parameter constraints that naturally emerge from the scheme.
