Abstract

Cellulase from Penicillium funiculosum exhibited different hydrolysis tendencies when acting on cellulose materials. Successive addition of fresh cellulase to enzymatic pre-treated substrates showed foolscap paper to be the most susceptible for enzymatic hydrolysis followed by filter paper, newsprint and microcrystalline cellulose.
