Abstract

The paper recovers quiescent optical solitons from the nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation that comes with nonlinear chromatic dispersion and a wide range of self–phase modulation structures. The solutions are implicit, a few of which are expressible with special functions while the rest of them are in quadratures. The parametric conditions or constraint conditions for the existence of such solutions are also listed.
