Abstract

This article obtains the parameter dynamics of super-Gaussian and super-sech pulses for the perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation with quadratic-cubic and generalized quadratic-cubic forms of self-phase modulation structures. The implemented variational principle successfully recovers this dynamical system.
