Abstract

The current paper applies the semi–inverse variational principle to obtain bright 1–soliton solutions to the perturbed concatenation model that is considered with power–law of self–phase modulation. The model is otherwise non–integrable with different power–law parameter in the perturbation terms. The parameter constraints for the existence of the solitons are also indicated.
