Thermostability of cellulase from penicillium funiculosum

When cellulase from Penicillium funiculosum was held at between 25°C and 60°C prior to incubation with CM-cellulose and filter paper as cellulosic substrates, it then had a higher thermostability towards soluble CM-cellulose than insoluble filter paper.
